How long has your battery lasted? Do they hold up well for a long time? Die gradually or drop off like a rock?

bump , wondering that myself . Most battery's now last JUST 3 -4 years at best with regular use (no winching , K C Daylighters etc)
What replacement battery's do folks like ? With a 2015 DC (2.5 years old ) I know I will be looking for a new one in the spring at best .

Mine died without any early warning. One day, it was functioning perfectly, another day, it was dead (wouldn't even crank). Mine lasted roughly about 4 & 1/2 years.

Sounds like these batteries last longer then my wife’s VW Jetta battery. That lasted 1.5 years. Had to have it replaced with only 30k + miles

Funny you mention that... My 2015 Passat battery dies last week at work. 46,000 miles, bought it brand new...Always garage kept. They just use junk batteries. I got a jump and left it on the tender for 2 days after that. Its been good, Alt is charging good, no issues with the car.

I have one in my Grand National, I yanked the first one after 10 years, was concerned about how much longer it could go. The current one is 5 years old. Optima Yellow top will be my next battery. With a big Christmas road trip coming up I will be watching closely. Since my truck was bought late 13 the battery is coming up on 4 years. First sign of a slow crank and it is getting yanked. After 22 Years at GM I have a really good ear for that stuff.
