Hello all looking to upgrade my entire auido system from H/u pseaqkers and amp. Looking to do
componant in front tweets in sail panel ,coaxial in back and sub under back seat with 5 channel amp . My question so far is should i mount tweest in dash where factory are ? or sail panel ? Also how do use factory wiring and leave or dont leave dash speakers connected ? Its looking like i should not leave dash connected and just run all new wires to all four doors ? but is alot of work. Is there any gain leaving front connected ? I have been allover searching for info but alot of people dont upgrae H/u

The sail panels give the best sound for components in my opinion. I would not use the existing dash speakers as they are not quality and will not likely give you very good sound. You can simply cut one of the leads going to the dash speakers to take them out of the system. There really is no need to run new wires to each speaker. The existing wiring is fine. What year truck do you have?

    It is a 2017 sr5 Dbl cab .
I decide to go with tech12volt, James RAndy Taylor gave me a really good deal on what is turning out to be a decent sound system. Gonna do. The tweets in the sail disconnect dash tweets leave center channel go from there also 2 10” subs under back seat . Gong to use all factory harness As I’ll be under 100 watts per channel so feel ok with this.

I see Gntundra up top sitting back chilling , I have read and studied a lot of your post’s feel free to chime in anytime . I feel I’m going at n right direction .

    Infinity 6.5 cs compnant front
    Infinity 6.5 coaxial rear
2 jlaudio 10tw-1 in box under seat
    Infinity q-5 5 channel amp
    Kenwood dnx574s

Your wiring diagram may be different than my 08 DC. On older model Tundras, removing the dash tweeter speakers will cut the signal going to the door speakers.

That's not an issue anymore. I have one of mine unplugged because I was getting a weird sound one time and I thought it was coming from there. Unplugged it and never hooked it back up because it wasn't making a difference anyway. In all honesty, I really can't tell a difference between them being plugged in or not.
