Oh, this looks like fun. Do you have to remove material to make the sub box fit?

Did you put the tweeters in the sail panels up front? What about for the rear doors?

Yes tweets in the sail panel and in the back where the stock tweeters go. You have to drill out the stock mesh on the back doors very carefully but they fit pretty nice.

I got this same setup from James Taylor, I love it. You don’t have to cut anything! Front tweeters fit perfectly in front sail panels and in the back doors. The two 10s sound really good in the little space we have.

And done. Sounds awesome! If you follow the directions, install was easy and I would say to all that a DIY install is not hard-particularly with the great support from James.

i left my jl tweeters behind the factory mesh on the rear doors. Kept it more factory looking. May not sound as clear behind an extra layer of plastic mesh, but my front stage more than makes up for it.

Is that one of the kits listed on the site? Which one? Did you have the factory JBL system?

Did you deaden the doors? For a complete novice, would you say relatively easy to do?

It’s really easy. For me the most challenging part was to run the power wire through the firewall. I finally used a long bolt. But the rest is really easy. JRT gives full instructions.
