Hello! Just switched from a taco to Tundra. I purchased a 2015 tundra dbl cab long bed with 100k miles. Upon picking it up from the dealer I drove from Denver Co to Indiana for Christmas. I noticed the steering wheel vibration/shake at higher speeds above 50MPH. Fast forward to today... the dealer had my truck to install the tires and wheels I purchased. They ended up replacing the front rotors and pads because I mentioned the shake. Upon doing the alignment and balance and new brakes they took the truck for a test ride. They then noticed the vibration is still present.

I will keep you all updated with the findings and what the solution is. I know that it isn't alignment, balance, or rotors/pads at this point.

It's still possible to have an incorrect alignment or bad tire balance. They need to look at the tie rods, ball joints, etc.

When you are over 50 and tap the brakes, does the shake get worse?

Depending on what wheels and tires you bought and who did the balance and with what, you could absolutely still have a wheel balance or out of round issue.

My18 CM with 30Kmi steering wheel vibrates like crazy. Multiple alignments, tire rotations and still vibrates. Stock suspension and I have BFG AT's but it also did it with the stock ones as well. I hope someone can chime in here with a solution
    Thanks

They finally got back to me and they believed this to be the rear drive shaft bearing. They are replacing it today and I will update!
