    Hey Guys,
Ive been browsing for a while and finally bought a 2012 this weekend. I put a new set of Michelin ATX AT2s today and had an alignment done. I drove about 20 miles home, and it drove like a new truck. Went back to work for a few hours, and it sat in the heat and got hot inside. When I got in to move the truck, when I turn the wheel to the left or the right it sounds like a dragging sound? This is definitely coming from the plastic on the column or something close to the steering wheel in the column. Anybody experience this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Were you able to fix it? What was the cause? It just started doing it today after I had it aligned.

It is just caused by the cover being so close to the back of the steering wheel. It's no big deal other than the noise. If I remember correctly, I just adjusted the steering wheel tilt just a hair. Another option possibly is you could try a strip of felt tape between the areas that it rubs. It's really cheap on Amazon.
