driving close to the house today and out of nowhere i notice my steering wheel is clocked to the left and truck seems to be pulling.

pulled over thinking maybe i had a flat but everything looked fine. i looked underneath and didn't see anything obvious but truck is definitely all of a sudden out of alignment

I am only one that drives it and I know i haven't hit anything to knock it out

Any thoughts before i take it to alignment shop.

Same happened to me! Show them ask them to fix it? Probably tie rod ends? If they can’t get your $$$ back and go somewhere else.

    Cams tight?

I have seen shops leave them loose.

I had the alignment done about a year ago. Truck has drive straight since.

I have had a clunky noise somewhere in the front end but never been able to figure out what it was.

Doesn't hurt to check the cams. If those fuckers are not tight, more than likely able to work themselves loose over time and boom - slip

I will check. Didn’t even think about that. I do remember seeing a torn dust boot on my caliper last time I had the brakes off

I checked And Re-tourqed them last year immediately after the alignment and was hearing noises. The shop told me they were tight. When I checked They were Tight but still maybe 40lbs off

I remember having to buy A new torque wrench because the spec Was so high
    I will check that again.

not real sure what to do. I jacked the truck up but can't seem to find anything loose. I used a big pry bar to try and move tires and control arms and didn't see any movement

I hear something popping under truck while driving/turning and steering wheel if off to the left

Not sure how I missed when I looked earlier but I found the issue, but my upper control arm has a completely disintegrated bushing. Not sure how this happened but it has completely failed Truck will not be drivable until I get the repalcements

The tabs on the cam bolts have also been known to break on our trucks. Make sure they are still there and engaged.

    Glad you found the culprit

These were ucas off eBay. So yes I got what I paid for. I think the bushings that came with the arms were fine, but the sleeves were not correctly sized allowing too much flex between the sleeves, main bolts and bushings.

I am basically completely rebuilding the arms. New bushings and sleeves from dirtking, also putting in new ss uniballs and new misalignment hardware also. Hoping this will resolve issues.

I have been chasing a front end noise for the last year so glad to finally have it narrowed down to these arms

Whats the word bird? I just replaced my driver side bushings last night and love not having a creak when the suspension cycles on that side.

Out of spec sleeves caused my bushing failure. Cheap parts. Everything seems fine after a complete uca rebuild
