I tried to start my truck and nothing happened. No lights no bells. It started fine with the remote and idled fine. When I tried again with the key, nothing. Any ideas?

I dont think so, but I'm not sure. It's a lock/unlock and a key emblem you push and hold to start. It kills the truck after a few minutes and the truck can't be moved except by cranking it with the key.

Do you have a different key you could try? It's odd that the remote start would work fine... making me think there could be an issue at the key or ignition switch feeding into the computer.

Looks like maybe the transponder key. I dont think it could be the battery because it starts right up with remote. I only have the 1 key and assumed there was nothing technical about it. I assume I'll have to tow the truck to the dealer to get it checked.
