Working on outfitting my Tundra for some off-road fun. What are some basic must-haves for lite-mild off-roading? Don't expect to be putting it in any deep water or heavy rock areas..just some backwoods in KY. Mud, grass, hills, some forestation. I have 2018 Tundra. Nothing modified on it so far. Starting a list from cheap mods/adds to more costly mods/adds.

what year truck? a good set of AT tires in a slightly larger size will get you many places. If you have a 2nd/3rd gen, you can fit a tires a few sizes larger than stock on a stock truck with stock wheels. Could start there and do other upgrades like a lift once you get some seat time offroad and see what upgrades would be beneficial.

I’m curious about this as well. I’ve never been off-roading (beyond gravel roads). My truck is mostly a pavement princess, but I would like to do some mild off-roading now that I have the truck. For general use, I would like to get a rear sway bar…but would that be a detriment to even light off-roading?
