i have a 19’ model and almost every morning when I first crank it, it makes a click sound right when I start the truck. It’s a single click like the starter engaging or something.
It runs great but just wondered what the click is.

@ScarWars - did you ever find out what that noise was? I have a 17 which is doing the same thing. A metallic click when the key is first turned, but runs fine and starts normally.

I never found out. Mine doesn’t do it all the time. Usually on the first start of the day it does it. It will do about 4 out of 10 starts.
I watched a few Tundra exhaust vids on YouTube and I heard the same noise on one of them. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I hope. :fingerscrossed:

One of the quirks, I guess. Thanks for the response!
