Are these basically the same system? I had
Accessorides for my Tacoma with no issues. For the tundra it's $299. Both tech12volts and start-x are under $200.

I cannot say if they are all the same system, but I bought the Start-X version with the optional 2-way 1 button remote (for additional range when in the office at work) for my 2019 and have been happy with it. It works with factory key fob, it's easy to install and 100% plug and play as advertised.

Im going on 2 years with tech12volts... all plug in play as well, I use the factory remote as well and frequently start my truck across the parking lot or from inside the house when it's outside with zero issues. Upgrade for very, very long range or connect to your phone to start from anywhere. I guess these are similar

They use the same fortin evo units. It's just the customer service you pay for.

I’m just hitting a year with the start-x. It is used 2 times a day/5 days a week for at 10 months a year.

Just set whatever heat or a/c setting you want and start it up for 15 minutes!
