    What’s wrong with stock?
I have one of these to move my 16 foot canoe. Works great just have to remember how long everything is when turning, passing other cars and backing up. Don’t forget to put a red flag on the end.

The answer is easy. Ditch the paddleboards and get a boat! I see SUPs all the time and they just look bored out of their minds. And not "at peace", I mean like "this sucks, it's just boring and hard work and i dropped my phone in the lake". I feel it's a fad like pickleball. In 20 years no one will be doing it. I want to invite them onto my boat to do something actually fun and interesting.

It's funny you say that, 'cuz I remember being annoyed when a lot of my surfing buddies were cutting back on their surfing to go paddleboarding (just about 20 years ago) and I was like "WTF, that looks like it'd be such hard work and so boring!"

    Then I tried it.

Yeah, the hard work part is absolutely true. It gets easier as you get better and you're more relaxed, but it's still a great whole body workout, while being enjoyable enough that you don't notice the pain. lol

I see SUP's all the time and I don't see anyone who looks bored. I see people with their kids or dogs on their boards, I see couples gliding along, I see exceptionally fit women in bikinis paddling by, or even better the ones doing SUP Yoga (I try not to stare, but God!) but I can't recall ever seeing anyone who looks bored.

I actually find it quite meditative, especially on my big board, 14' race/touring that really glides. Put some good tunes on my little waterproof BT speaker, a little cooler with some waters on ice, and paddle for 3, 4, maybe 5 miles if it's glassy.
(Yes, somewhere between La Jolla Shores and La Jolla Cove is a perfectly good Samsung S10 in a waterproof bag)

You ever tried it? Ya' might like it.

I'm with you. When I see people on paddle boards in Florida, they are usually in the canals because the open water is too rough. They look hot, bored, and miserable, kinda like joggers on water. LOL.

I'm always happy to be on my little skiff heading to one of my favorite tarpon spots, or to flip for snook, reds and snappers in the mangroves.
