I couldn't find this solution anywhere, so I fabricated it myself!! I can provide the stainless steel plate with the plugins for $60 CAD or $50 USD (plus shipping). I use tools remotely quite often, I hooked this up to a 1500w Samlex inverter - I can run a grinder from my dash!!!

Contact me if you are interested...

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 48g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Icon leaf spring packs and got rid of the interior chrome
running a blender for daiquiris and margaritas would be handier than a grinder...

It could probably handle both. At the same time!

Where do you run the inverter to? Can you tap into the cigarette lighters or do you have to go somewhere else? Also, do you have a link to the inverter you are using?

You should do a build thread for this. I'd be interested in doing this.

You should not run through the cigarette lighter wires, the wire gauge is not big enough. I have the inverter under my seat and wired to the battery through a solenoid so it only draws power when the ignition is on. I have two wires plugged into the inverter and run to the back of the dash that are connected to the plugs I designed to fit the plate.
