I will be moving to the St. Louis area in a couple months, curious to know who else lives in that area and if you guys have meet-ups or gatherings.

I live in Pevely, which is about 25-30 miles south of the city. I've heard of some meetups, never been to one though.

Thanks @Bob ! Welcome @Randy1794 ! I have seen a few meets in the STL area over the past year and a half but haven't been able to make any of them. I believe they were advertised on the Midwest Tundras FB page. Let me know when you make it out here and we'll have to grab a cold one or dinner. PM me and let me know where you're planning to live and let me know if you need help with anything out here. I live in O'Fallon, IL ... about 20 minutes east of downtown STL.

Yes welcome! I've never heard of any meets in the area but I'm up for it.

On a side note I've been seeing a inferno orange pro pass my shop every day on chouteau, we waved yesterday. Anybody know who has a inferno pro in the area or maybe he is a tundras.com member?

I don’t know who is who. But I drove past one on my way to Trader Bobs a few weeks ago. I tried to wave. But I don’t know if they saw me.

Thanks guys, I will definitely have to do a meet up or two. I am always down for coffee..I kind of have an addiction.
While on the topic of StL, does anyone which Toyota dealerships in the area the best. My wife works for Toyota here in California in Customer Service, and would like to stay within Toyota is posssible.

Well there’s 4 to choose from. Really depends on where you live I think to be convienent.

Ackerman’s Toyota has really nice new facility. It’s located within the city.

Weiss Toyota is in South County (Afton, Mo). It’s a little bit smaller. But they’re doing a nice remodel. That’s where I go to. I literally live blocks away.

Lou Fusz Toyota is in Kirkwood, which is a nicer part of town. Lots of good food. Traffic is a biatch.

Seeger toyota. It’s more West (Creve Coeur, Mo.) Never been there. But I’m always near there because there’s a BubbleTea right next door. Its also A smaller dealer. Never really heard much about them.

Hope that helps. Do you know what area of Stl you’re going to call home?

@Randy1794 it looks like @Johnathand provided a good summary and here's a few more I'll add to the list:

    - Jay Wolfe Toyota in West County - Ballwin, MO
    - Pappas Toyota up in St. Peters, MO
    - Twin City Toyota down in Herculaneum, MO (about 30 minutes south of STL right off I-55)
    - Newbold Toyota in O'Fallon, IL (a couple of miles from where I live) ... small dealer but they seem to do a good job on service. We take all three of our Toyotas there and have never had any issues. The staff always seems friendly and get you in and out as quick as possible.

I purchased my truck at Weiss Toyota in South County. Like Randy said, small dealer but they were great to work with during my purchase.

When we moved here I was surprised there were so many Toyota dealers in the area.

@Johnathand @757TUNDRA thanks guys for the info. I will pass it along to my wife and check them out also. I will be working with Boeing over Lambert IAP. I have been focusing my home searches on the Northwest side (O’Fallon, Saint Peters) or down to the south (Fenton, Arnold). I have never lived or visited StL, I just applied for the job on a roll of the dice and got accepted. Anything to get me out of this god forsaken state of California. LOL

If you’re working at Boeing. O’Fallon Or St. Peter’s isn’t bad. That’s right down Hwy 70. I would say Fenton or Arnold will be a trek. Not to tell you, you shouldn’t live there. It’s just a journey.

I purchased a new 2012 Tacoma from Jay Wolfe. Crapy truck but no issues with the dealership. I'd buy from them again.

It is nice, and there is a sweet gun store called the range, basically across the street.

St. Charles is a nice place to live, and you have Bommarito Toyota in Hazelwood. Bought mine from there recently, great service and nice big facility. I'm out in Eureka, personally. Small town but about 30 min from the Airport (I work there also)

Not that I have seen or heard, but only been in the StL area since April. Was in Northern California and we had a pretty good group of guys and girls that would meet up for gatherings and trips
