    Hi All,

    Pre-ordered a 2022 White SR5 Crew Max TRD OR in Canada (57k CAD w 2k deposit).

Few Questions that I didnt have any luck with at the dealer:

    8 or 12 inch screen?

Tailgate release in taillight (build sheet indicated "smart key with tailgate integration)

    Axle gearing ratio

    Factory Tires

    TIA!

I'm not sure what all trim levels had the tailgate release in taillight. Pro, 1794, platinum I think do. I want to say I saw a video that a TRD Sport did not have it, so maybe the OR might not either? I think that tailgate integration might mean locks with the doors

Might be a 12''? Not sure about tech / premium upgrade packages that might have an input here like JBL or non?

    not sure about the rest

I don't think the SR5 gets the larger (14" screen) so you probably get the 8".
I think this just means the tailgate will lock and unlock with the fob like your doors do. I think you have to go to Limited to get that button in the taillight that opens the tailgate.

Not sure anyone knows about the other two yet.

I saw somewhere that to get the 14 inch on the Sr5 you had to check every option box available for that trim.

I believe that's part of the reasoning adopted on here a few weeks back that the Limited was the best bargain for your money. Someone broke out an order sheet and showed that Limited trim had the smallest markup from last gen to this gen. Sr5 does not hold the same value as it did in previous generations.

How do you know the "Sr5 does not hold the same value as it did in previous generations"?

    Yeah no worries.

The quick and dirty is that to get the 14inch screen you have to buy all options in the Sr5 trim which is 57k or higher. The Limited I think starts at 55k and you don't have to purchase options you may not want.

That and the limited model per the math one member did experienced the smallest markup from last gen to this newest gen.

To get the 14", you have to buy the SR5 and get the Premium Audio Package. It includes the larger screen, Bed and Cabin Power Supply and LED bed Lights.

Toyota dealer rep gets into the infotainment requirements in the Sr5 at about 45 seconds.
