Today I noticed the passenger front door had a light squeak and wasn’t shutting as smooth as my driver side door. My truck is a ‘19 Tundra, built 8/18 and purchased 11/18.

I gave all the door hinges a good look over (hinges where interior of doors meet the body of truck & the latch where exterior of doors meet body of truck). Noticed there was little, to no, factory grease at any of these points. Much different experience from when I purchased my 2016 4Runner and 2013 Acura TL. I snagged a fresh can of White Lithium Grease and lubed all of these points (spray can), wiped excess off and the squeak is gone. Will add this maintenance item to my list when I change the motor oil and rotate tires.

Thought I’d share this practice with my Tundra Family.

White Lithium Grease is good stuff! I also use it on the hood latch and the tailgate.

Good idea. I’ll do the same.
