    So I’m pretty familiar with the squadron series of lights.

    @Baja Designs

    but I cannot find the difference between the work and spots, now before you tell me about the beam pattern, I get that. But are the LEDs different? Are the reflector bowls different. Because they look identical as far as the body and lenses both look crystal clear.

    the main reason I’m asking is I have a friend selling some squadron works and want to put a combo lens on them

    Same LEDS, as you stated the difference is the reflector and the lens..

    I bought a single BD S2 Sport light flush mount to put in my rear bumper to help with REV lights.
    I ordered it with a combo lens and didn't like the light pattern.

    I contacted them and told them my concerns.
    They sent me (for free) a work/scene lens and reflector that fit my needs better.
    I gave the combo lens and reflector away on the 'pay it forward' thread.

    They have GREAT customer service..
    You may only need a lens and not the reflector for your application.
    Give them a call and tell them what you need, or look thru this link and see if it has what your are needing.

    If you order them keep in mind they are single light kits, you'll need to order 2 for the pair..

    @1lowlife

    thank you, makes sense.

    so it might just be the reflector bowls on theses since both of the lenses are clear.

    Thank you! This is spot on, but as we are never content with staying static over here, we have just released a new lens for work/scene and will be transitioning to this style for S2, and soon the Squadrons. With the older style, everything stated above is accurate.

    With the new style - the LED and reflectors remain the same across the whole Squadron Pro line, or Sport line respectively. The wide/round work/scene pattern will now be achieved primarily through the lens.

    You can see the new style here: https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/S2-Sport-Pair-Work-Scene-LED.asp

    It does cut back on the ability to customize the pattern like demonstrated above, but does provide advantages in uService ability, and elsewhere - while still producing a great pattern.

    Hope this helps.

    thanks for input, I also sent an email to tech support and got a reply showing the differences in the reflector bowls. So I’m a little confused.

    I took the lenses off and snapped some photos. I will also upload the pic sent by customer support showing me the differences.

    here’s my current light.

    Thanks for having my back.
    Your customer service is above and beyond..

    I'd be interested in purchasing this lens for my single flush S2 sport when available.
    I like the diffused lens..
