Squadron Sport/Yellow

Did a test around the city last night and on the highway leaving my Squadron Sport/Yellow/driving combo lens.

I didn't get high beamed.

Really happy with them, quality gear made in the US. Glad I upgraded the OEM LED ones that really didn't seem to do much.

 

I'm not familiar with the Platinum trim LEDs...are they the same Rigids as the TRD Pros? I'm pondering making the switch but unsure if there will be enough difference to make the swap worth it.

 

Squadron sports are legit. I have a wide cornering pair on a pillars with yellow covers when necessary. I actually just aimed and aligned them tonight.

 

All I know is that I smile every time I turn on the squadron sports and the front of my truck is a big ball of yellow glow. I'm using the yellow plate that's half clear and half diffused.

The stock LED ones that came with the truck didn't do much (not the TRD ones).

 

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

Just bought a pair of used Sports and just want to know, does BD sell the internal parts to convert them to SAE? Is that even possible? I just watched a video showing the internals and seems that sports would just need the aspheric projector and plate. Does BD sell these separate?

If you would like to convert your sports to SAE. What I can have you do is send them in and we can swap out all the internal for you. They utilized a few different components and since they are SAE we have to make sure that all the optics line up to be road compliant. If you are interested in getting this done feel free to shoot me a PM.
