Think I paid around that from Toytec...maybe like $20 more. It’s a solid price if you’re ready to buy. Not sure it’s a “can’t miss”

You have any trouble with fitment...and or transferring leveling motors?

I didnt transfer the leveling motors...only because I didnt know you could until afterwards.

Fitment is pretty good, they aren't perfect but good enough to keep me happy

Been happy with mine. I believe I paid around 350.00. Leveling motors were pretty easy.

Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in there for you coos. I have them on 2 vehicles now, and the clear coat on both has started peeling around 30-50k miles. Could be just the Utah dryness, but either way something to take note of! It still hasn't stopped me from buying them (I end up sanding, wet sanding, polishing, and reclearing them) but knowledge is power.

Shweet. For the price they are pretty awesome. The projectors are like a 7/10 - included HIDs are decent (I updated both of mine to Moshimoto for reliability). LED's are all there and working well. I think you'll dig em. I'm probably going to update mine to the new ones for the second gen when I have a little disposable income.

Not a bad deal but this made me nervous:

    Fitment: 2014-17 Toyota Tundra

Mine still fit. It just eliminated the Headlight leveling function. Which sucks. But it wasn't the end of the world for me.

Damn this is a great deal. I got back a forth between Spyders and a retro. I was leaning toward a retro now I don’t know.

It really just comes down to money. If you've got a little extra skrilla to push then do a retro. The quality is better and you get to nit pick every little detail. If you're just lookin' to slap a sexy pair of headlights in for a decent price the spyders are where it's at!

I just want better light output, 90 percent of my driving is in darkness and we all know the stock lights suck.

You will get better output on the spyders from stock, however, you will get better output and pattern from retroing than stock or spyder. :)

I did retros on my first taco and they were the most efficient headlight ever. But have done spyder on my last 3 trucks... Perhaps that speaks more to my laziness than anything, but I'd like to think it speaks more to having a product provide me with a level of satisfaction that I continue to buy them over and over again. I know they have small problems (as noted above). But I really do like them!

You literally start screwing until the leveling motor will sit down and then twist it to lock in place. Continue to screw.

But... mark your lights before so you have a reference. Also, look at the “eye” in the projector first so you can get a decent idea of where to stop and finish up on your marked spots. Both took me about 30 minutes tops.

No I traded in my Tundra, still had the stock ones in the garage, and could give the dealer those lights. Figure I could pass them on.
