Keeping my TRD OR wheels because I like them, so I need to run spacers. My understanding is both brands are similar in design/technology/quality, it just comes down to Spidertrax only offering a 1.25" spacer and Bora offering 0.25" to 4" spacers.

Wondering if anyone went with a larger Bora spacer and has any pics of it? Tire is 35x12.5r18 Nitto Trail Grappler. Will not be running flares but like the aggressive stand I've seen on some trucks with negative offsets.

Pics of both Spiidertrax and Bora spacer setups are appreciated! Thanks.

Went with spidertrax. Seem well made. Haven’t installed them yet, but I was looking more for tire fittment vs stance. I liked the idea that they would push the tire out a bit, but not so far that they’re sticking way out. I’m also looking for pics with stock wheels, because my tires don’t go on until next week. Wanting to see what it’s gonna look like!
    I’m going with 285/75r18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W.

Here's a facebook reply I got in a Tundra group so far. Spidertrax 1.25" sticks out a lot further than I figured. Thought 1.25 should just make them flush, but this looks decent. Kind of makes me want to go with 2" Boras tho hah

    Looks great!
My tires will be an inch or more narrower, hoping to line up close to the wheel well edge.

I just installed Spidertrax 1.25" spacers on my 2018 this last weekend. I'm keeping the stock 18x8 wheels and wanted a little wider stance since the stock wheels have a +60 offset and sit way inside the fender line. I will take some pictures and post in the next few days. The only thing I've done to my truck so far is to add leveling spacers up front that lift the truck 1.5" which still gives a very small amount of rake in the back. I plan on adding new tires very soon to fill the wheel wells a little more. I'm leaning towards 295/70's but that's a whole other thread.

Also on a side note, I picked the Spidertrax because they had them in stock and shipped them within 1 hour of me placing the order. Bora spacers are made to order and can take 3-4 weeks to receive. Spidertrax are made in the US with quality materials so they got my business. The only thing I don't like about them is the blue color. Before I installed them I painted the outer edge that can be seen a nice flat black and left the mounting surfaces the original blue. Stay tuned for some pictures....

I would not go with more than a 1.25 spacer. The further out you go, you increase the chance of vibrations. And alot of us can tell you, Tundras are sensitive to vibrations. Most of us choose a different offset wheel over spacers. Bora and Spidertrax are both good, but limit the size if you do use them.

I run an 18 inch wheel with 0 offset and 285/70/18 Ridge Grapplers. I am just barely outside of the Bushwacker flares.

Spoke to Bora on the phone and they suggested 2" but it's interesting you say that. I do see most everyone that has them runs the spidertrax set tho

As I stated earlier today, I have a nearly stock 2018. I lifted the front 1.5" (spacers) and just installed the 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers on the stock wheels which are 18x8" with a +60mm offset. The spacers move the wheels outside of the wheel well which I like. Next will be 295/70 tires which will fill the wells up and lift the truck a little more. 1.25 no issues had to run then have a zero offset it would rub without. No issue

Going to a 1.25" you will more than likely need to do the cab mount chop.

I think, with the 60mm factory offset - the most you can do and still clear the cab mount is .75" or 19mm, putting your offset at 41mm.

CMC is already in the plans. Just need the tire pulled away from the UCA. Still weighing my options currently.

How wide of a tire is this? And what's the offset of that wheel?

I'm not, and haven't been, much as a finger width (or less) away from the uniball cup. Been running this way for like 45k miles without any issues. fwiw

My understanding is a 12.5" wide tire on factory wheels (+60 offset) and 3" lift will rub an aftermarket (JBA) UCA. Not true?

I'm running 50mm offset factory 17s, at 60mm you'll probably rub - good point, I forgot your 60mm factory wheels. So, for reference, this is what 50mm offset would look like - so a .5" spacer would give you a touch more clearance without going out too far.

Interesting. Yeah was mainly concerned about the UCA clearance with such a high positive offset wheel and not so much the poke outside the fender well (but I didn't want too much and it look goofy). Tight fit but I'm sure it looks great. So many options....making my head spin

This is a 8.5 on a 17. The off set is 0. Yes rub but moved my caster and bmc and almost a pinch weld. I don’t rub any more I can dig up my alignment sheet if u need it

FWIW, I have no CMC done with my setup and do not rub the cab mount under DD or wheeling conditions. A proper alignment will also help with efforts to clear the cab mount.

    just threw stuff at it
I run the 1.25" spidertrax on my TRD pro wheels(same as offroad just black) with 35x12.5 m/t. No rub and no CMC.
But i don't run the stock front bumper, so not sure if you'd have to push the stock bumper forward or trim it a bit, someone else can probably chime in on that.

The 1.25" spacer puts the wheel somewhere around +28 offset i believe(someone please correct me if this is incorrect)

Also as 14burrito stated, proper alignment will help staying off the cab mount.

unfortunately I don’t have any pics from before I put my fender flares on. But I do remember I had pretty close to an inch of tire sticking out

I picked up some of the SpiderTrax spacers, they seemed pretty popular and I am haveing some Bushwacker flares painted and thought that until I get some new rubber I should push the tires out a tad. Problem is no one will install them for me. So I picked up a floor jack and am waiting for warmer weather to put them on. Any tips for install?

285/75r18 were a no go with spidertrax and stock wheels. Would have needed BMC and bumper spacer to fit.
