I have a sr5 trd sport. It has the premium audio system has no a pillar tweeters or a sub woofer. I have the opportunity to get a trd pro amp subwoofer and door speakers. Does anyone know if my system is prewired for these to work?

Are you talking about a jbl system in the pro? If so they are junk. You should have an amp under your passenger seat. It's not very good but it's there. You would have to run speaker wire for the sub and probably a power cable for the amp.

    No, do not buy it.
Check out some of the threads on here about people who have upgraded their systems.

I don't believe the wiring is the same. If you want to upgrade your speakers look in the audio and video section on the forum. Better yet talk to James at http://www.taylorsaudio.com he is the tundra audio guru.

If somebody paid you to put the jbl system in your truck you’d still be out money. @Tech12volts is the solution to your audio woes. He can work with any budget.
