I’m going to post this for a lot of the new folks, kinda like myself. The reason you see Sparks mentioned so much is because they do what no other dealers can. They make "kits" for what you need.
Example: Drivers door pillar handle. Through a dealer you have to buy the post cover and the handle, prices out over $220. Through Sparks $167.
Color match door handles w\ smart sensor. Through the dealer, $210 per door. Sparks sold the whole kit for $485.
I don’t work for them (used to live 4 miles away, now in FL so that stinks). Just know they save us a bunch of money.

Yep...they are great. I'm going to order a handful of oil filters from them. Went to Wally World today and a Fram filter was $15.00

Highly recommended for OE parts…make sure to use the various rebate codes as well.

I’ve had opposite luck with them so far.. ordered a set of silver sky mirror caps for my tundra and they gave me a super white one and a silver sky. I contacted them and they claimed to “send” the second silver sky passenger mirror cap but it has now been over 10 days and is now lost in the mail. I contacted them again and they claimed they can’t access the back and forth email feed and asked for me to send more pictures of their mistake so they can figure out the problem. So it’s now been 20 days since the initial order and still no solution to the problem. Will not be ordering from Sparks again

I don’t remember what I was buying, but I went to my LD and asked if they had the part or could order it. They didn’t have it but could order it and it would be there the next day.
The quote was like $70 more than Sparks. When I told them of the price difference they scoffed and said they couldn’t touch Sparks price. I asked asked them how close could they get and the parts person sat there typing for a bit and gave me a price that was .36 more than Sparks. I was like , “ that’s pretty damn close, I’ll take it, and next time I’ll just ask you right off the bat to price match so we don’t have to do this dance.” They seemed okay with it. That time anyway.

I've recently found some "golden nuggets" type of pricing and then golden service on parts from Joseph Toyota of Cincinnati. I don't recall what got me looking their way but their prices have been excellent and they ship usually that same day with FREE SHIPPING. When I f'd up and ordered "2 ea." of brake shoes for my '97 T-100 rear brakes they actually picked up the phone and called me to clarify that 1 ea. order quantity is a pair of shoes that does both sides.

I agree. I scoff at the shipping cost from Sparks BUT my dealership comes nowhere near Sparks' price even with the Costco discount. I am currently looking at towing mirrors....my dealership wanted (kid you not) $331.61 per mirror. Sparks was $167 per mirror. What in the mother trucker. BUT than again just look at the dealership and the 'free' coffee. It explains it all.

Sparks will match prices too, I believe. I got my TRD blacked out LED headlights from them, they did not disappoint!

lewistoyota out of Kansas for my OEM parts with no tax and free shipping.

BAMwholesale for specialty items that lewistoyota doesn't have such as certain TRD wheels.

Sparks for kits like the grab handle but nothing else because their shipping is high and delivery is slow.

    That's my go to list.

My two dealers never match Sparks or anyone else. For the most part Sparks beats them even when shipping is added in. In these times it pays to snoop around at prices and ask questions!!:)

+1 for Sparks and their kits - definitely a huge plus and ease of life for sure. For me the biggest thing is what black@blue19 said - need to shop prices. I have personally found that Sparks is very competative to local and generally wins on the price battle. I've used a number of dealer "intermediary" sites and so shipping is hit and miss (on timing). Biggest thing is to just make sure you are getting genuine Toyota parts that keep your Toyota a Toyota and the longevity it's built for (i.e. just cause it says it's a Toyota Genuine Part online, doesn't mean that's what you're getting in the mail - check the source).

    Over the last 7 years of owning my 2014;
When I was researching parts (TRD Pro skid plate, TRD Pro grille/hood bulge, TRD Pro LED headlights, etc.) I asked my local dealer if they would match online pricing even including shipping.
They literally laughed in my face..

I bought a lot of stuff from Roman at TOCS.
Probably easily over $4K over the years.

But lately, it's either Sparks, or whatever dealer shows up googling a part number after adding their shipping..

Agree, I've gotten all my upgrades from Joseph, so far they've beaten Sparks every time. I'm local, but I just use the free shipping bc I'm lazy.

I also am a fan of Sparks but their shipping prices are insane. Only ever use them on their Black Friday free shipping deal and they usually have a Memorial Day free shipping also.

Sparks Parts has given me all kinds of trouble in the past. Tried to order some roof cross bars for my Sienna, and they emailed me after taking my money that I needed to send them a picture of my address on a piece of mail and a screenshot of my banking app with their charge showing. For an $80 part.

    Yeah, no thanks.
