About to embark on .5 spacer install to maximize lift on my pro, curious if I will need to install standoff’s (spacers) on the pro skid plate? I am planning on diff and carrier bearing drop to align driveline. Also, for those who have done this, any tips to ease install would be appreciated. I vaguely remember reading to loosen control arm nut and something else prior to getting truck in the air as this will allow suspension to drop and avoid messing with lower arms cam bolts. I don’t have access to a lift so will be on jack stands.

    Thanks!

Yes, you'll need the skid plate spacers to properly bolt on the skid plate. I didn't loosen my cam bolts. I used a long pry bar to lower the Lower Control Arm further down. This was when I was installing King coilovers for 3 inches lift. Also, a breaker bar will help too if you don't have impact wrench. This was done on my 2010 Crewmax 4x4. No differential drops.

What are y’all doing for bump stop extensions when adding 1/2 spacer to your Pro; Wheeler super bump, coachbuilder?

You don't need the drop and it might actually be harmful. You're better off putting stress on axles than on the drive line by changing the angle of the diff.
You don't need a carrier bearing drop either unless you feel a vibration emanating from the drive line.

Where did you find a 1/2 inch spacer?

Thanks- how much lift does the 1/2” add approximately?

Wheeler super bump will collapse equivalent to stock bump stop. DO NOT USE AS STAND ALONE BUMP STOP when you have spacer lift.
