This 38 gallon tank is the best thing ever. It's been five days and I still have half a tank left.

What kind of range are people getting?

stock, I was getting 600 miles on a tank. although, I was filling it at about 500 miles. with the small lift and slightly larger tires, I am getting a little less. maybe a range of 570 miles now (16+ mpg vs 15mpg). I can go about 2 weeks in between fillups.

That is awesome!! I'm used to filling up the old Tacoma at about 300. Annoying.

yup... that range on the 3rd gens is awesome :)

on my Tacoma, I was lucky to get 250 miles on a tank due to the big and heavy mud tires. so glad I switched :)

I was lucky to get 16 mpg in my 2016 Tacoma, mostly because that little squirrel powered engine has to work so hard to get out of its own way.

Wait...what? 38 gallon tank? I was just bitching about how small my gas tank was....now i feel like it's tiny AF. :( I definitely don't get 600 miles to a tank. Maybe a 1/2 of that.

Crap. I'm a gonna have to tow you next weekend when you run out?

OP - I get about 470 on a tank. I started with 600 and quickly settled at around this range.

How? I average just around 390-400. Factory wheels and tires. Mine is 95% city though.

I have no idea why I'm so low and dropped from when I first got it. I have a DD so I barely drive it, but comp says I'm averaging 14.7 MPG.

600 miles is well out of my grasp since I'm averaging 13.5 mpg. But I just love the sound of that TRD exhaust. :militarypress:

I don't remember exactly, call transferflow and check. When you're talking to them, ask for a discount code. I did, and got $100 off. I think the price was around $1200. I paid a shop to install it $250, and added coating for around $100. Transferflow has a list of approved installers on their website, you might have one near you.
FYI, the OEM Toyota 38g tank will also fit, but will cost about $1000 more, confirm this with @Roman

My buddy with the 2015 is so damn jealous. The small tank is what kept me from buying an older model. Im so glad toyota listened.
