    Group Buy is CLOSED
But you’re not out of luck - 12/13/22 update

    Hey everyone,

Thanks to @Bonzen and SoCalTundras I can coordinate a group buy!
This is for Solid Offroad solid motor mounts for The 4.7L 1st gen and 4.6/5.7L 2nd and 2.5 gen Tundras.

If you wheel your truck there’s a good chance you’ve already seen these, if you haven’t: these solid motor mounts replace the stock rubber motor mounts that are prone to failure. Over time the rubber will deteriorate causing your engine to beat your frame like a slide hammer until the frame gives out.
To correct this issue Solid Offroad motor mounts are purpose built here in the USA and use a polyurethane bushing that’s far more durable and prevents the engine from moving around and damaging your frame.

This is my paraphrasing overview, read up on all the details and additional benefits (like improved throttle response) by going here -
    https://solid-offroad.com/

The 4.7 mounts retail at $450 + shipping.
Once we hit 10 people the price goes to $400 shipped.

The 4.6/5.7L mounts retail at $500 + shipping.
Once we hit 10 people the price goes to $420 shipped.

Once we’re at 10 people we have achieved our price. This GB will be open until Friday 7/15 and we can exceed 10. So let’s get as many of us Tundra owners in that want to be a part of this :woot:
Check out the details here on your mounts -
    4.7L - https://solid-offroad.com/shop/ols/products/1st-gen-tundra1st-gen-sequoia-47-v8-engine-mount-kit
    4.6/5.7L - https://solid-offroad.com/shop/ols/...sequoialandcruiser-200-57-46-v8-engine-mounts

    Color Options: https://solid-offroad.com/gallery
    Black
    Gold
    Cobalt Blue
    Silver
    Dark Grey
    Red
    Bronze
    Copper
    Purple
    Titanium
    Raw (bare metal)

    If you’re in, you’re in.
I’ll need your name, email, truck info and the color you’d like for your mounts. I’ll keep all participants noted and supply that to Solid Offroad when we’ve hit our mark. From there payments will be made directly to Solid Offroad (I never touch your money) and he will collect your order info, shipping info and funds.

Please ask if you have any questions

I installed mine 2 weeks ago and noticed improved throttle response and the front end just feels more solid going over bumps (hard to explain). Very minimal vibration after install and would bet that most wouldn’t notice it. Well worth the upgrade, and cheap insurance.

Sorry if I missed it, but how long approximately may this go? I’m thinking about jumping in as well. Just through July?

Here are the install pics that I have:

Side by side comparison of stock vs Solid Offroad.5D02D7C8-D3F9-43A3-A6B5-B8CF056D3A81.jpg 596474DD-C8D3-4965-BD8F-81DD829B774C.jpg

Minor wear on my stock mounts but my truck is a 2020 with only 26k miles. I’ve had some high speed fun with my truck. You can see how much the stock mounts flex and over time how that leverage can cause failure.

Install isn’t hard but it took me some time to figure out how to get the stock mounts out of the engine bay, you have to Jack the truck up uncomfortably high and maneuver the mounts out through the front of the engine bay. I also had @Porschetech29 as a lifeline.

It’s until we get 10, then orders will be placed. This is earlier than I wanted to go as well, but the deal became available so I volunteered to manage it. I know I need these, I’m honestly not sure what to expect when I take my stock mounts out. But I’ve seen enough of them completely demolished to know it’s only a matter of time before major damage is done. If you’re thinking about it and want to save $100 then I’d jump in or at the very least watch the thread for participant updates. Just my .02

And next time you go wheelin' and get stuck and anybody says anything about 4WD, you can just tell 'em "yeah but do you have any idea how much easier my motor mount install was?" haha.... Truthfully I don’t know how much easier it would be if at all, but I have heard that swappin headers on a 2WD is cake compared to on a 4WD...
