I looked at Redilight offerings for this project.
    https://www.redilightusa.com/residential/

It looks like I could replicate this without spending nearly as much. (Maybe flawed logic, please le me know)

If I was to source a panel, what are the considerations? I know I need to be able to support the max power drawn, 12V versus 24V lights?, is there a nice junction type box to wire all the different lights together or just solder them? I am only interested in these running when the sun is up so no battery. Do I need some sort of voltage or rather current regulator somewhere? I'd like to have 48W for now, but can I have a panel that outputs more so I can upgrade later?

edit: went a different route. mods can delete

I would like to start with maybe 4 lights that can put out maybe 800 or so lumens, not exactly sure. I will mount this to a tile roof btw.

    Any help is appreciated.
