I just moved to Vancouver, WA where it rains all the time. I am looking to get a camper shell/canopy for my truck so I can have my dog and stuff in the bed without getting soaked. Haven't had any luck finding any used canopies to fit and don't want to spend a small fortune on a new one. Does anyone know of any softshell or collapsible tops that will fit a 2016 tundra crewmax? I was looking at the Supertop Bestops, but none of them specify exactly if they will fit my truck. Thanks in advance for any help!

IMO the Softopper is the way to go, I've done a bunch of research and surveyed ones I've seen on a few trucks. They're solid. Definitely a purchase I'm looking to make in a few months time. I like that you can run it when the situation calls for it, and easily fold the topper down/and or remove when not needed.

Welcome from Vancouver WA - Check out PDX craigslist, theres a couple hardtops on there for CM that are reasonably priced

Just be aware there is almost zero air flow in this type of topper. Not an issue in the winter, but in the summer it’s a problem. I use my soft topper for my two dogs who are in a crate in the back, and I definitely wouldn’t leave them in there if I was parked in direct sun or even if it was 70 degrees or above.

Great thank-you for the heads up. I primarily want it for the winter and rainy season. I also like the option of being able to roll up the sides and buckle.
