I've been sober for 2 1/2 years. Never planned on being sober, just happened. New job was the main reason. I went from a job I hated and was very stressful. I took a huge pay cut for the new job but I feel so much better. Was weird, I just quit buying beer every week. I drank 3 twelve packs of Heineken each week. I sometimes miss the buzz but I would rather hang out with my kids than a bottle. I can't say it was tough to quit because it wasn't something I wanted to do.

Nope, never heard of such a thing. Not much of a drinker anyway, just like one every now and again.

I don’t drink often enough to consider being sober. I definitely want to have a beer if I feel the need. Typically I only drink on weekends and even then it’s minimal. I drink when I barbecue at my brother-in-law‘s and when I’m on vacation anywhere, ever! LOL
