Quick rundown on my Tundra. 2008 5.7 Limited with 206K miles. Believe it or not I replaced my serpentine belt @ just over 190K. Starter, AC pump, Lower ball joints, secondary air pump went out so i used the bypass kit last year and its worked fine ever since. Installed a cheep Rancho leveling kit, I'm sure that's what caused my lower ball joints to wear. replaced level kit with Bilstein 5100s adjustable shocks. work great and still have the lift i wanted. I'm about to replace the radiator, hoses, thermostat, and cap in a few days. Also noticed a looseness in the steering wheel. the rack and pinion has some movement side to side. Planning on replacing them with the Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. figured I'd do the rad and bushings at the same time. any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I could use some advice on replacing the rack and pinion bushings on my 2008 Tundra.
While driving, I felt some play in the steering wheel allowing the vehicle to wander slightly side to side. After a quick inspection I found that when turning the steering wheel back and forth the unit its self moved side to side 1/4 inch or so in each direction. From what Iv'e been able to find on google the O.E.M bushings are a softer rubber then say, a polyurethane bushing. Defective bushings? I don't know. I plan on replacing them with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings ASAP. I've also found some posts saying that they can be removed/replacing on the vehicle without pulling the entire unit out, Is this true? Any advice would be hugely appreciated .
    Thnx.
Sorry for the double post, thought i might have better luck here. 8)
