That puff of smoke on startup scares me. 6500 miles on 2018. Guess I'll naturally take to dealer but seems like blue puff, not water vapor.

Just the other day, when I started mine, a puff of smoke.. but it immediately cleared, didn't smell like oil-burn. I convinced myself it was water vapor. Also, I haven't been able to duplicate it, so I'm not too worried yet.

    I have a 2018 with 3800 miles on it.

Has there been smoke observed during every start up?

There are a few posts here online, and utube. An oil catch can, can prevent this from happening. It’s just oil being burned up in the PCV system, nothing to worry about. Hopefully it kills a few mosquitoes.

A little whitish gray smoke at startup is usually an indicator of bad valve seals. Had this problem in past on 2 different vehicles. Cleared up when I replaced the seals. Odd that it’s happening on such a new vehicle.
