In my quest to rid my truck of haunting smells using almost every method available, the last smells are coming from the headliner. I have ran an ozone generator and it got rid of almost all other smells in the cab but didn't do much if anything on the headliner. Any ideas on something to try on this? It's not visibly dirty FWIW.

dilute vinegar with distilled water, use spray bottle and lightly mist the headliner, crack windows and allow to dry.

Thanks, but I have used diluted vinegar in the past and the acidic smell never left, even months later.

Then rub some baking soda on the headliner, let it sit for a while and then vacuum.

you could also try rubbing it down with dryer sheets, or leave a bowl of coffee ground in the truck overnight, both will absorb smells.

No thoughts on how to get rid of the smell, though from personal experience I know that the ozone generator is excellent at that. I have had an ozone generator for years and can vouch for their being very effective. One thing my machine's instructions warned about is that ozone generators can break down adhesives. There are lots of those in your truck, including the adhesive that holds the headliner to the roof. Just FYI in case you weren't aware of that.

You might want to try https://odoban.com/ they make some very good products. They are a local company in Middle Georgia. Check them out and see what you think. You might call them and see if they think their products might help with your issue. Good luck.
