Sloppy Steering?

How do I change my steering rack bushings? Any other wear items in there I need to worry about?

Seems the truck is “floating” along and seems I have to correct the steering too much. What upgrades/ maintenance can I do to get my tight feel back. Truck has around 75,000 hard miles on it....

 

Not sure what you mean by hard miles but it probably had something to do with it. I would put it up on a lift and inspect the front end; go through each of the front end components, even the wheels for any free play. It could be a combination of components. Even a combination of small things working together. The sloppy steering could also be caused by something other than the steering rack alone and you don’t want that.
I would do it sooner than later because it’s a heavy truck and you have to work harder to control it as it is. And whatever is going on is failing and likely will get worse rapidly and it can’t be helping the good parts any.
