1st question, is a little it of play normal for the center carrier bearing on the driveshaft? Ive got some.. 2nd question. Was trying to grease my slip yoke, and i kept pumping and pumping (about 15 pumps) and it never moved, or oozed any grease out at all. Am i missing something there?? Thanks. Edit: i tried uploading a video of it but couldnt.

If the carrier bearing is bad, you will know. My whole truck is vibrating right now due to the that. Your other question I dunno

Edit; I'm 2wd now so my driveshaft no have grease

I was told by some here that 1/8-1/4" is normal. I suspected mine was bad, vibrated like crazy but oddly the vibration has disappeared. I plan to replace it soon. And I can't top the other replies. :)

@FirstGenVol has a method where he pumps it 15 times and then runs to the back and jumps on the bumper until the zerk hole oozes out. When he sees that he screws the zerk back in place and wipes the shaft clean.

Personally, the first time I pumped my slip yoke it took about 20 pumps (stopped at 20 because no ooze) where the other zerks were about 8 pumps before ooze.

A month later I pumped the slip yoke again with about 10 pumps and the grease squeezed out the shaft finally. I did notice that prior to this second application that grease was on the shaft from the first time so presuming it finally worked its way out from a months worth of driving.
