I want to plastidip my bumpers and get rid of all the chrome.. I saw one at the dealership that they had jacked up with tires and such and did that, looked good and rugged

Sounds good thanks! Sounds like less work then I thought thankfully, and less money too.

Watch some youtube video of it, when you first spray it will look runny and thick in some spots and thin in others. It will dry nice and smooth though so dont freak out.

Currently having an inner battle with myself about my grill. I will no doubt order the TRD Pro grill but I don't know if I should color match the bulge or get it black. Any advice?

I'd go with color match over all black, the reason being so that the black insert part will pop off and you can see it better.

Where is a good place to buy your TRD PRO Grills that will paint that bulge to match your trucks color?

Sparksparts has a great deal right now ... For an extra $100 they'll get your lower trim in the color you want and they are currently offering free shipping.

Your hood bulge won't be painted by whoever you buy it from. They'll just go ahead and get you the hood bulge in your color choice for the Platinum model from Toyota.

update: added KatzKin Leather to the SuperSilverTundra went with
Black Letaher Perforated inserts and Silver Stitching it looks really good quality on this leather is better than the leather that came on my wifes Highlander from the dealer I would definitely recommend Katzkin to any one looking to add Leather you wont regret it

I went with the readylift which was a little bit cheaper than the toytec and recommended by my local shop whom I've delt with for many years now. Lift, alignment, and tires out the door was just under $1600.20160926_181402.jpg 20160926_181426.jpg

    Shane,

I'm getting closer to possibly doing a lift on my Tundra. I'm thinking about going with a 3/1 lift with 20" +20 offset fuels wheels as well. On your post I'm quoting you say "stock tire size" ... would that size be 275/55? or 285/55??

    Thanks

The Toyota stock size on 20 inch wheel is 275/55/20.

Thanks, I only asked because I believe Wes's came with 285/55. Trying to compare what Shane has in his picture compared to my thoughts of running 295/60's.

I am not very familiar with TSS package. Don't they come with pocket style fender flares also?

The TSS doesn't automatically come with the flares, those are just something I wanted and had them add it.

You can get TSS in black or graphite package. Comes with upgraded tires, 20" wheels, step bars, color of badges, floor mats, and tail badge.

Johnny, I really like the look! Did you go spacers on the factory wheels I want to keep my factories also but want to bump the stance out a little. Also how the feel an ride now that you got it done I'm not looking to change that much from the factory feel.

I've heard good and bad things about the spacers. Lot of guys here use them and have no problems, but there are a few that have had issues, and that is not a place you'd want to have an issue going 70mph down the road. I called 4 wheel parts and the guy there was against them, ha. So I'm on the fence as well in getting them done.

I've got Spidertrax spacers on my factory wheels and so far no issues and love the rubber sticking just pass the fenders look. Just had to recheck the torque on the lugs after a 100 miles. When I change my wheels though I will buy the proper offset to get the look without the spacers but will hold on to them in case I decide to get fender flares.

Yeah I know there is risk with them but I think if there good one and checked periodically they are fine. I had a set on my 02 avalanche for years and never had any issues. It was a small one if I remember I had 1/2" in the fronts and 1 1/2 in the back chevys have the odd staggered look that I hate.
