Individual preference. Steel will be heavier.

Both have accounts on here. Check their websites and see if the mention the grade of steel used, weight, etc. I'm a symmetry nut, so the Victory emblem looks better to me, but I didn't know about them when I got my RCI skids. I love my RCI skids too, but it I beat them up enough to warrant a replacement I might try Victory's.

I might be confused, but I think Victory has shutdown production right now.

Not to thread jack, but be ready to drop your tank to install the driver side slider if you have the 38 gallon tank. The rear bolt is impossible to get to with the tank on. Still love my sliders.

My personal choice is RCI. Not a lot of difference between the two options, but RCI has been around a lot longer.

Plaid the discount game cause I was curious. Front skid plate costs:

    RCI: $275 shipped

    Victory: $332 shipped

Anywho, I don’t think you can go wrong with either. Both good brands, which logo you like more??!

Idk how the smaller tank sits, so it might still require a tank drop for the rock sliders. I have the 38 gallon, so that is all I can speak towards.

Full disclosure, I was slightly disappointed with the welds on the sliders (skids were perfect in all aspects) because they were ugly. Nothing that would affect performance, but not pretty. Didn't really care because the ugly welds were going to be on the underside.

It should be noted that RCI uses 10 gauge steel (9/64) and Victory uses 3/16 - 12/64. Victory is thicker, and therefor stronger, but will also weigh more if you assume the same surface area/coverage.

I went with victory. I tend to stick with the same brand if I can and they have more stuff for the tundra that I'm interested in. But be forewarned they are shut down due to the virus. Still waiting on my skid. Not sure about rci.

Thanks dude yah I was chatting with a buddy who is in the sheet metal trade he said for rci the sheet metal is over priced for what it is. (Everyone gotta make a buck tho) that being said it’s a lighter metal then the victory so keep that in mind as far as overloading the vehicle. But both seem like good products so far

I went with Victory even though RCI is local to me. Also RCI did not get back to me when I had a few questions so it made the decision that much easier, Victory on the other hand was very quick to respond. Thicker steel just makes sense. Plus, aluminum works for OEM appearance packages, not so much for offroad. Although Victory shut down production I did get a shipping notification about 6 days ago and am hoping to have it by the end of the day.

This was basically my experience. I was talking with RCI and then all communication just disappeared.
Victory 4x4 was super fast to return calls/emails, answer questions and get product on the way to me. They’ve been great to work with and very supportive of my non profit organization.
