I really like how the TRD dual exhaust sounds but it's a bit pricey and it seems like it might experience a little bit of power loss at the low end?

Any single exhaust options around the $500 mark that might sound similar and no droning?

If nothing else I guess I will go with the trd exhaust.

I love the custom BAMuffler system on my RCSB, no loss of low end torque, more horsepower and great sounds out of a single tail pipe.

Thanks everyone for the "votes"!!!! We do enjoy happy customers :)

Yes, our systems are hands down the best out there: price, sound, no drone, we hit the mark on every turn you could say. We have a few options that you could look at to keep it around the $500 mark. We have a sale ending 8/31 that brings the standard stainless steel budget system down to $599 shipped and the standard stainless steel 6", 8", or 10" system to $849 shipped. We can also do a payment place 50/50 split to make it more affordable if you want.

BA Muffler standard system (muffler delete) with resonator. It doesn’t drone. It sounds great. It fits your price range. The end.

Edit, sorry thought I was quoting the OP, but still you should buy one lol

    Luv my BAM..
Started with an 8", swapped it for a 10"

You can do a 6" if you like the glasspack sound, well maybe not that intense.

I'd suggest an 8" if you want a bit of rasp, a 10" if you don't..
Install it without the resonator and see if you like it.
If it has too much drone (there won't be much), install the resonator..

I run a 10" with the resonator and I love it, but I'm an old man.
Call Keith @dirtydeeds and discuss your wants and need; loudness, towing, etc..
He will talk you thru your options..

How long out are you on building a stainless steel 10" system (or 8")?

Thanks for the info, probably will go with whatever sounds the closest to the trd exhaust. Interior sound is very important though since it's what I will be hearing the most and ultimately I don't mind spending more on one of these systems as long as low end power loss is minimal and there is no drone. Just want the sound to be a bit better, it doesn't have to be a loud neighbor waking machine lol!

That is why I swapped my 8 for 10.
Sometimes getting off work after midnight, I felt the 8 was a tad loud.
Neighbors never complained, but I was paranoid about it.
You can keep it quiet with a low idle creeping around the neighborhood, but the 10 worked out better for me.

If you have a wife and kids that accompany you in the truck, the 10 may be the way to go.
Then again being younger than I (you'd have to be), the 8 might work.

I liked my 8, but driving behind Walmart or Lowes with the windows down, I could hear a rasp (when I jumped on it) I never heard with the windows up.
Although I did do a bit of sound deadening to the cab..

    Even with my 10;
    1. I always remote start my truck just to hear the BAM kick in, helps me find my truck in a parking lot.
    2. I rev the engine under every bridge or over pass to hear the BAM.
    3. I step on it getting on the highway just to see my wife roll her eyes...

I also like my welded on tip...
