I've been looking into doing a retro on my OEM headlights. Currently, I have SPYDERS, which i like the look, but even after the HID conversion i'm still not lighting up the road like i want.

Could everyone that loves their retros please post a pic of day and night so i can get some ideas. I'm pretty sure i know what i want (if i do it) but if something else moves me in a different direction i would owe you for allowing me to copy you

I'm thinking something simple and plain like the pic below, maybe even the exact setup. I don't think i'm in to halos or anything that will draw a ton of attention. Just something to blast some light

I guess no one on here has retros.

I need some ideas. Please post pics of your retros. I'm leaning towards something like the photo I copied about. Also thinking about something like these

That second one u posted would be your best choice in my opinion. You could white out the bowl, would look cool if you are dechroming. I went with black out with the exception to the shroud.

I agree, but I'm not sure I like that much white. I'm already dechromed and I saw a Taco today with lots of white in there and wasn't all that excited about it. I like the pic but am not sure i would be happy once they showed up, according to the rest of my coloring

Looks like everyone loves the Panamara shrouds! I'm looking at redoing mine with demon eyes and some etching on the lens. Here's mine now... color matched to MGM and tinted side lenses with a matte black bezel. IMG_4199.jpgIMG_4191.jpg

I finally finished my retro headlight build today. So I'll post some pics after I install them on the truck. I did color match my attitude black paint on the inside trim and then I did a matte black on the reflectors. I did change out the switchback halos on the panamera shrouds to RGB 110 mm leds. I installed RGB demon eyes. I did go with diode dynamics switchback turn signal and running light leds. I do have a module for the RGB leds that allows me to control the color of the panamera and demon eyes from my phone. I also changed out the reflector with a dark smoke.

Yeah they are expensive depending on what you get. Mine were 1050$ but it mostly depends on what projector you go with. You can choose cheaper projectors to get the price down. All depends on what your goals are. If you want excellent beam patterns and light output, dont skimp on the projectors.

The projectors compared to stock are night and day difference. I hated the light output on stock, especially the brights, which left it dark right near the truck. Now with projectors, they light up everything and the brights should probably be illegal, ha.

Other than that I love them all morimoto parts d2s projectors switchback led strip oem drl turn signal disabled rgb halos 5500k hid kit and made the diffuser with ceiling light tile.

Ps old pics of the truck looks a little different now
