Please post pictures of your Tundra with 305/55r20 tires. Please include your suspension set up and wheel size/offset. Even though this is a fairly common size I can't seem to find many Tundra on here running this size. Thank you!

PawPaw was lying when he said, there’s no such thing as a dumb question.
Not that your question was dumb, just the fact PawPaw was wrong.

that size sits between two setups I have run (305/55R20 is a ~33x12…keep in mind true tire size is not equal depending on manufacturer/tire selected), both tire sets I ran were Nitto Ridge Grapplers: 285/65R20 (33x11.5) on +50 offset with bilstein 5100s at top setting no rear adjustment (no cutting, no mud flap removal, stock uca); 35/11.5R20 +10 offset with TRD Fox Pro and Westcott designs collar/block lift (3/1) which required removal of front mud flaps (both) and bumper fender liner modification (or just a new bumper altogether)…

The 11.5 is really the widest you can run with stock UCA on +50 offset; you could run a 12” wide or 12.5” on the +10 offset (I’m sure with a +18/+25 as well—these are common offsets for our Tundras in aftermarket) and still have UCA clearance, but might need a BMC for rubbing at the front rear…I assume this is ultimately why you are asking (in addition to seeing the height/width visual difference on that wheel size)

adding a couple photos of uca spacing as well w/ pics of 33” (silver +50) & 35” (Black +10) on 20’s so you can see the meatiness of the tires in relation to the wheel

Thanks for all the info and pics! I'm not really worried about being close to the UCA. The plan is to do a3/1 lift with a BMC and run a 20x10(-18 offset) wheel and 305/55r20 Ridge Grapplers which are showing 33.23" X 12.44". I really like this size RG because it is offered in a SL rather than an E/F load. I considered going with a larger tire but it seems like that would mean going to an E/F load tire which I really don't need. Plus I like the way the 305/55's look on a small lift with a negative offset wheel. I was hoping to see other members trucks with the same or similar setups and get their input.

IMO, you’ll be a little thin on tire after the 3/1 lift. I felt like the 33s on 20’s looked good at 2.5” with the bilsteins, but they looked too small after changed out the suspension with the wheel well gap (sitting about 3.25” up front with 1” in rear after I changed out my suspension)…

That -18 on a 20x10 is going to come out quite a bit. My 20x9 w/ +10 is already out ~1.5” from the wheel well edge w/aggressive RG side tread; you’ll be another 1.25”+ further out with the 28mm difference in offset and 1/2” wider tire.

I know style is all a personal preference, but I think you’ll be too far out and low profile for the 3/1 lift, that size wheel, and a 305/55 tire…I’d definitely be looking at a 35” (possibly a 37”) tire if you go that route.

    might browse website: https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery
Should be pics of similar setups there if you haven’t checked already

here’s a visual of 33x12.5(similar to what you’re looking at with 305/55/20) 20x10 -18 at stock height…you’d be taller with more gap after your lift:

@1P749O4 thanks for the input. Yes, I have looked at pretty much every Tundra on custom offsets looking for the setup I want lol. I do like the look of a -18 offset (I know its not everyone's preference) and I feel like the negative offset with the lift makes the 305/55's a little larger than they are. I wanted to go with the setup I mentioned above because I really liked the setup on one of the members of a FB Tundra group I'm on (minus the ridge grapplers). Do you think they look too small on this truck as well? I even photoshopped the truck white to see what mine would look like.

IMO that offset helps reduce the skinny effect since they are coming out a bit further…the lower sidewall will ride harsher though…it was a noticeable difference going between my 285/60R20 to a 35/11.5R20 in handling road harshness (and definitely off-road). Keep in mind a stock TRD pro tire is going to have a 7” sidewall, you will be at 6.6”. Going to a 35” tire on 20s will give you 7.5” of sidewall. I also preferred the look closing in a bit of the wheel well gap.
