I did my truck last week. I did half and half and saw no difference in performance between the two. It had been right at a year since I’d done mine last, and there wasn’t a ton that needed to be removed, but the Shine Supply product did just as well. It doesn’t have the stink that Iron X does.

One of you guys may want to get a small bottle to verify, but it did fine for me.

I'm going to try this out Jason. Looks quite promising

I bought a gallon of this stuff in the spring and it worked great. Was my first time using an iron remover so I couldn't really compare it to another product. Definitely cheaper than Iron-X.

Does anyone agitate the iron product with a mitt or MF towel like many instructions say to. I have always sprayed and rinsed and never even thought to wipe the surface at all.

I did my wife’s Highlander last week. After a good hand wash, I used IronX and wiped off with microfiber towels after 5 mins. Not sure I would try this on a black vehicle, but with her blizzard pearl, it worked great.

I’ve done it both ways. I don’t think it makes a ton of difference, especially if you’re claying afterwards. I’d say it’s best to spray on and rinse off within five minutes. If you aren’t claying it is probably better to agitate it.

I’d agree with this. I followed up with the clay bar and it was almost unnecessary as most came off with the IronX towel combo.

I hear all the time that polishing is needed frequently after claying, but I’ve never seen any marring on my black truck or any other. I think using chemical decon first makes the clay step a lot less harsh. It may also be because I exclusively use a fine grade Nanoskin mitt. I have a medium grade Nanoskin sponge that I use for glass with bad water spots, or in the event my dumbass lets IronX sit in the windows too long and it stains......

Generally the only spots where I pick anything up with clay after IronX are around the hood and front end. Usually next to nothing left on the rest of the vehicle.

Yep exactly. Mostly in the little nooks and crannys around the plastic trim areas.
