My 2019 TRD Pro has finally arrived and I’ll be setting off shortly to go get some goodies installed out west. The truck is going to see a lot of use this summer and we are currently planning a trip to Alaska in 2020

My 2017 Tacoma 6MT TRD OR has seen a lot of the country and will continue to hang around while the tundra takes over towing and larger trips. I’ve put 85,000 on it in 2 years time.

From the short amount I’ve driven it so far, I think it’s going to be awesome for the long trips. The Tacoma was great if it was just me, but it was definitely cramped with other people.

I got it when I started doing a lot of solo travel so my family knew where I was and I had a method of communication in areas with no cell coverage. I’ve been very happy with it, it works really well.

I’m up by waterloo. If you are looking for the same truck, there will be one in Cedar Rapids in a week or so lol mine was built on 4/6 and got lost somewhere in transit. They got me another one that was identical sitting on a lot in IL since I’m leaving in a couple days and have installs scheduled.

I’m doing Trans Wisconsin trail and some down in Missouri this summer at some point if you want to join up with me and a couple others

The dealer here has one actually but i have a deposit and better price on the same truck coming into des moines in a couple weeks (built 4/26). I'd probably be down for the trip depending on timing!

little of both. I do quite a bit of travel for work but also for fun. Traveled a lot of miles over the last couple years. The loop out through ND to California and back we did in a weeks time last year.

Sounds like a plan to me. I've been thinking about doing it for a while now and figured I gotta do it now or I'm never going to end up going. This year is pretty much going to be prep and then head up July 2020 ish.

Same here. I have been planning as well and people around me think I m crazy so I gotta do it on my own. My truck is finally done w all the mods so this year is testing and then the big challenge.

That sounds familiar. I mention going to Alaska and everyone is like "oh cool that'll be awesome" then I say I'm driving it and they are like uh wut

I've done plenty of flying but I enjoy whats between point A and B. There's so much more out there to see and random things you find along the way you'd never see otherwise.

I can relate to all this.
Yup, it’s the journey and finally the destination. Flying is boring unless I m the pilot. fighter jet may be not the cargo hauler..
