    I'm pretty sure that the "50 posts" requirement is to keep the marketplace subforum from becoming a defacto Craigslist (and all the ess ehhhch eye tee that goes with it).

    It’s all too common for folks to create an account here to sell things and then disappear completely. The 50 post rule is to make sure you’re:
    1. Not a bot
    2. Going to contribute to the community
    3. Not using the site solely to peddle merch/troll/fluff/etc.
    It keeps us all honest and builds the community.

    So many complaints about this lately. My suggestion is Craigslist Facebook or eBay. I don’t disagree with this rule. It’s one of the best actually. It’s cool to help another member out and make something available they may want but if you just got here why would you care.

    Look at forum content, member join dates, post history and buy from a trusted member

    Yep. I go off of history, involvement, etc. I cannot tell you the amount of complaints we get on TW where someone purchases something from someone who just hit 50, then disappears and then we get involved (Which usually works out).

    No, we can move it to Marketplace and label it as WTB. I've done this several times.

    Careful selling with PayPal to someone who is new as well. I've been burner by them claiming it wasn't as advertised and PP usually sides with the buyer.

    Buying and selling, I look at member history etc

    it's honestly not difficult to get the 50 post minimum. but trying to make extra cash and help someone else can happen in other places aside from a community of tundra enthusiasts. you could probably spend a total of 2 hours on here commenting and helping others with experiences, thoughts, etc and reach that 50 in no time. but rules are set for a reason, whether understood by you or not is not a factor of them being enforced. welcome aboard the forum and good luck with you FUTURE listings.

    I assume they’re either chrome or black plastic. I’ve got three sets. If I need to clear out space I have a couple of big cans where I keep all of my items that have no value. Then a truck comes by twice a week and it all vanishes.
