Seeking thoughts on 2" NFAB step

Folks, I bought the nerf bars without welded-on steps from NFAB and they're dope af. But my girlfriend doesn't like doing pullups to get into my lifted truck. Not to mention my grandmother...

Does anyone have any advice on welding on a new step straight to the 2" bar? I know a guy with the right welding tools, but I really don't want to do it, since you can't exactly take that off once its on.

Is there a 2" clamp out there strong enough to hold 300+ lbs, that I could clamp on? I measured the tubes, they're 2" in diameter.

If I come up with anything I'll let you folks know, meantime if yall have any ideas...

Sounds like you would need something occasionally, maybe try one of those folding tire steps and see if you could rig it to your steps.

That's a good idea, but I think I'm going for something like the nerf bar step I posted the link to. I've never heard of those, they are pretty cool if you needed to be able to reach in the hood.

i guess the good thing about those is they will break away if you forget to take them off while offroading lol
