Lookin good! Thin fat cap on that one, they've trimmed her bare. I've been on a TX rub kick lately but your making me want to go back to a bbq rub on the next smoke.

Pork butt!!!!!! I'm a purist - mustard slather and 1/2 cup of a 50/50 salt & pepper mix with a dash of paprika for color. I also give it a few smacks ahead of time to let it know I mean business. Kinda like this:

The previous owners of our house left an unopened bottle of Stubbs in the pantry when they moved out so I just assumed it was terrible. Can't wait to crack it open now.

Stubbs is underrated for being mass produced and mainstream. Sauce is good, but there chicken and pork marinade is next level. Our family loves the pork marinade. It is sort of sweet and will hurt your felling it is so good!

When I first moved to Austin 20 years ago, I was driving home from work and trying to stay out of traffic. I found myself driving pass Stubbs. Aerosmith was playing in their backyard. Freaking Austin. Cool place, great food.

got my alarm set for 5am and the wood chips (1/2 hickory and half apple) have been soaking the last 24 hours. 8 pound pork shoulder. Brined for 12 hours today and dried off and put the rub on tonight. 6pm tomorrow and the family will be in a food coma

I would consider it a house warming gift. had doubts about it years ago when I bought a bottle to try.

I got tired of the sweet sauces and wanted more of a vinegar/pepper sauce style sauce. Stubbs is towards the bottom of the shelves around here, should be eye level its thats good IMO, but you gotta pay extra for that spot on the shelf.

Stubbs has been my go to since.

I have 4 more bottles in my stash with my BBQ rubs LOL...
