Just got back last week from a week long trip to Northern Maine - Seboomook Wilderness Campground on Moosehead Lake. This was the first reasonably long trip (from Northern, NJ) that I have taken with my 08 Double Cab 5.7L.

30 miles of logging road to get to this place - pulling a small teardrop trailer. Some of the most fun I have had in truck at times. Once we dropped the trailer and were free to play around, we showed no mercy on the poor truck. It handled it quite well. Everything up there is rough on equipment. Other than my cap trying to come off a few times, the truck was perfect. You can get as lose as you want to get.

Nasty rain the day we left, the roads turned to THICK mud. Truck pulled through it without issue - trailer looked like a giant mud ball when we got through. :)

There is so much to do up there, I recommend it to anyone looking to take a great trip - get away from the masses and see some great sites. We will be doing this trip again.

Added a link to the pictures on my Drive. Not sure if that is allowed but I figured I would give it a try.
