If you're talking about sealing dust from the bed with a tonneau cover, I haven't found a solution, yet. It's been a pet peeve of mine for decades. All the tailgate gasket kits that I've tried only help a little.

I've never understood why manufactures can't seal the tailgates at least as well as the side doors.

Yes that is a long term issue for me and looking for a better way. I think the Tundra is sealed a little better than the others but only marginally in the wheel well area. With the tail gate pivots the seals just don't stay in place. It could be worse, the GM multiflip thing doesn't even hold water out at the car wash and double the amount of joint area.

I don’t but I have it in my Amazon saved for later based on positive reviews on this site. People say it pretty much seals it up.

That's the gasket kit I'm currently using. It makes very little difference on dust, or water intrusion, and after about 1-1/2 years they are falling off. I wouldn't recommend.

    Thanks.

My biggest issue is water getting in through the tailgate gaps. Need to figure something out

I ended up getting one a bit bigger for the bottom of the tailgate. The one pictured in the kit still let dust in the bottom of mine. So far so good on the “fatter” one.

Do you possibly have a link to the "fatter" one? Thanks.

Turns out it is the bigger one in the ESI kit in a 6’ length. https://extrudedsolutions.com/products/ultimate-tailgate-seal-large-6ft
Apparently I positioned it lower than I should have, the first time. I removed the old one and put the tape strip higher, this time, and the tailgate lip presses into it better to seal out dust. The side gaps need to be done, too, of course.

Thanks. I have the seals that others have mentioned previously but knew when I was installing them they probably wouldn't last very long as the sticky bits didn't seem very sticky. If I install something else I'll use some marine sealant to enhance the stickum. It's not affected by water and sticks like crazy.

When I initially installed them, I thought the same, but if you press them on well and let them cure according to instructions they hold well. I was surprised how well when removing it to replace it. There’s about a quarter inch of lip sticking up across the bed, now, to get the bulb end far enough up to get good contact with the lip on the bottom of the tailgate (when closed).

I previously used the ROK Block tailgate seal on my 2014 Tundra and was very pleased. All but stopped dust or anything falling in the gap between bed and tailgate. The gap was much wider than on the third gen though. If you follow install instructions it stuck like crazy! Haven't done anything on this one though. Just been living with the dust so far.
