Still no luck making this with a 2" receiver hitch coming out the front instead of a winch mount? I know there are a few of us that would purchase if it had a 2" receiver hitch so we could use our winch in both the front and rear of the truck. Plus, we could cover up the hole with our license plate making it completely hidden.

We have no plans of doing a 2" receiver version at this time.

That looks awesome. I was curious if a light bar would work with that SDHQ winch mount. SDHQ was unsure and said probably not. This gives me hope....lol

Will this work with a TRD Skid plate?

    All stock-ish. Powdercoated blue suspension.

Haven’t been hearing back from Joey through PM for quite some times now.

If you buy a new mount that was made after March this year then there isn’t any issue. If you buy one made before March of 2021, then you will need to do some trimming on the mount. It’s on their website.

Storm Trooper Shift Knob. BMF BATL Wheels.
With mine, I just trimmed the black bumper trim literally removed one vertical and horizontal bar on the bumper slat trim. I am able to easily reach the spool lever to engage and disengage the winch.

Same here! I would also use it for a fishing cooler/rod basket.

I had a sdhq hidden winch mount and debated with the idea of making my own plate and having a welder attach the 2” receiver tube to the plate and gusset it. Plate would use the existing 4”x10” bolt hole pattern of your standard winch so if you wanted to swap a winch in later on you could. Best part is the license plate would cover up the receiver tube so you’d never even know it’s there.

unfortunately, life got in the way and I abandonedthe project/sold off the hidden winch mount. I definitely think someone should try it though!
