I think we should have a contest to find out who has the cheesiest title to their thread.......

Ok, so, recently I had a dead battery. Dead because I killed it by leaving my 30" LED light on for a couple of hours after getting back from 4wheeling. Yes, I'm dumb like that.
Anyway, I pulled out my Yesper emergency jump starter.
I hooked up the leads and hit the boost button and it started right up!!! I drove straight to the auto parts store and bought a new battery. Before hooking up the new battery, I decided to see if my jump starter would have enough grunt to start the truck without a battery. It did it, no problem!! It actually ran it for about 20 seconds or so.
So I put the new battery in and I'm back on the road! Yay!
This was the first time I've had to use this and it performed perfectly.
So, thought y'all would enjoy a write up of sorts.

This is what comes in the Yesper soft/hard case.

This is what the plug looks like that goes into the jump starter.

Pretty standard positive and negative clamps. 20251206_143531.jpg
Full view20251206_143600.png the left side has 2 small lights and the BOOST button that you'll push after hooking up the cables. Then start your vehicle.
20251206_142834.jpgpush the power button to see the charge. 4 bars is fully charged. Hold the power button down for about 2 seconds and you get a flashlight. 20251206_143210.jpg
You'll see the LED flashlight and the C charging port and USB ports. Comes with a C charging cable with USB on the other end. So you can charge your phone if you use an android as this cord works.

Showing how the plug is oriented. Will go only one way.

I have another brand that looks like the same thing.
Amazon doesn't even sell it anymore.

Looks a lot like this one and the one you have.
Amazon.com: Andeman Car Jump Starter 3000A Peak 20000mAh (Start 9L Gas Engine or up to 7L Diesel Engine) Battery Charger Automotive, 12V Car Jumper, Power Bank Power Pack with Quick Charge Type-C Ports, Red : Automotive

I bought my Dad and SIL one for Christmas a few years ago.
They've both used them many times, the SIL also used it to start his and his buddies' side-by-sides.
I have a reminder set on my phone to charge it up every 3 months, along with checking the HVAC filter in the attic...:eek2::thumbsup:

Great to use to charge phones and stuff in a home power outage as well..

Yes, there are quite a few variations out there. I was inspired to get one by watching Project Farm. He tested a bunch of different kinds. Like you, I didn't find the one that he found was the best. I looked at the reviews. Glad I have it!!

I think they're all pretty much the same.
It certainly beats hooking up your truck battery to someone's vehicle to give them a jump...
