I can honestly say there’s nothing about the 2022 at this point that would make me trade my 2019 limited. Maybe after seeing more on the road over the next few years will change my mind but I doubt it. Personally I love the looks of the 2.5 generation tundras!

What's with the black stripe on the side? Is that because of the trim package?

Ugly ass truck. Time does not change ugliness lol. I still can't get over the angles at the bottom of the flares.

It's going to take a while to get used to. Right now it looks like just another Ford or Chevy to me. It's too bad, I really do like the looks of the 2.5 and was hoping they'd come up with something to stick out a little from the pack. But, in the end, it's a Toyota and if I needed a truck, I'd proudly own one.

If it's attached with adhesive that would be my heat gun's first target.

First thing I noticed when I pulled up was how small the tires looked. Like it was running 4 spares...

I must admit the looks of the new Tundra are growing on me. When I saw it for the first time, I thought it was hideous. Now, I think it's just ugly.

I like it a lot. Wish I was the only one wanting one, I could get one now and with a hell of a discount lol

    just to name a few:
    • LED headlights, tail lights, interior lights
    • 14 inch big screen
    • if equipped, rear locker
    • if equipped, 360 view cam including bed viewing angle
    • ventilated seats
    • improved driver's assist and safety tech
In a normal market, we'd be seeing 2021 Tundras getting $5k-8k discount as the last model year, so if that was the case I'd be tempted to get a great deal on 2021 and be happy.
But, if I were in the market for a new truck right now and I have to pay sticker for 2021 vs 2022, I'd pick 2022 because those added features are worth the price increase.

Call me crazy but I feel like some design engineers got laid off at Nissan but then Toyota hired them.

Looks more GMCish to me. But they are all kind of going that route.

Them, Ford and GMC . LoL

When I seen the new Tundra TRD Pro, that's the 1st thing that came to mind. GMC 2500 with the built in flares. The garnish on the hood. Shape of the wheel wells. Also the front end of a F150. Grill section n stuff. And not to mention the truck looks like it skipped leg day. Although I still want one. Hoping the added torque down lower will work better for towing. I feel I'm pushing my truck hard when I tow my 16" enclosed. And it's only around 5-6k loaded. I like doing 80 too.

That's what I was thinking from the pic, I didn't know if it was just the angle or what, I haven't seen one in person yet. The proportions just look so odd.

Yep pretty much this^ Although I love how the current gen Chevy looks, owned 2 and they are crap so I have a Tundra. IMO Chevy did a modern / futuristic look correctly and Toyota .... belched ideas and threw it all at the truck both good and bad.
