About seven years ago at our last house we had a house fire that completely burned down the attached 28x72 attached garage before the fire department stopped it at the back of the house. It was about 2 months after moving in so over half of or stuff was still packed in the garage. We lost alot including my dad's tools and wife's childhood nic nacks. One of my losses was about 5 long boxes of comics I collected from the 80-90s. Well last week last week wife brings out a bag of burnt comics and admits she had always planned to do something with then for me but did not know how without me knowing so she fessed up and we talked about what to do. We came up with sealing in epoxy. Looks pretty good. I am not a wood worker by any means.

PS- I posted this in hobbies because comic was my hobby almost 30 years ago. If this should be somewhere else please move.

That's pretty cool and original take to make art out of art. I dig it.
