The guy on the left all hunched over doesn't look like a very good stance.

Its not, but he won't listen. He's one that says "I know what I'm doing! I've been shooting for years!" and obviously he doesn't.....barely qualled. The other 2 listened and both got expert.

I don't know a whole lot about the military so let me ask a question: what environment is "gray" a good camouflage for? Seriously interested in knowing.

Hmmm...that guy in the left seems to be using isoceles stance which is why he's hunched. I've seen many military personal doing that. The middle and right are using weaver which doesn't really allow the hunching unless you really want to be uncomfortable. I prefer weaver myself. More stable and comfortable. I've been told it's old school and isoceles is what's preferred. By whom? I don't know.

    We teach this:
    Isoceles-Stance-PoliceOne.jpg
The isosceles because we want your plates to the threat/target.....more protection.

We used to teach the Weaver....most old school military do somewhat of a combo of the 2. The guy on the left was tired and his legs sore from locking his knees. He literally had no bend at all in his knees....which we don't teach that. Like I said above.....these guys sit in a class before qualifying and still DO NOT listen and do their own thing....

    Still rocking the stock height.
WOW! How did he not fall on his face bent over like that? I use Isosceles when I shoot, but you have to bend your knees. This reminds me that I need to hit the range soon before I have to requal in a few weeks.

Understood. I didn't know he had his knees locked. I guess civilians wouldn't be concerned about plate protection. Maybe weaver would be ideal for civilians due to possibly giving a smaller target since the body would be slightly turned. I could also move a lot faster forward or backwards just as fast as laterally in a weaver. I seem to fatigue a lot faster in an isosceles stance faster than a weaver.
