    Hey folks,
I live in the northeast with harsh winters and lots of salt. Do you guys believe Ziebart rustproofing to be effective? Yes I plan on kerosene no my truck beyond 5 years but as with everything, who really knows.
    Thx

I had it done to mine only because dealer discounted the package by 50%. Do i think its worth it? Yes, for the right price.

I have mine done by Krown, it can be a DIY thing but I'm not interested in crawling around under a truck spraying oil. It cost me $140 to have it done, plus I get a warranty. IMO $140 is pretty damn reasonable and kind of nice when I can enjoy a cup of coffee while someone else does the work.

So my mechanic actually has a product that he uses in his shop. Wasn't perfectly aware of this until I asked. For $175-$200 he will do the underneath of my truck. I trust him...

I agree with it. Here in Ontario it's all salt winter time. Krown oil spray all the way. It don't prevent corrosion but slows the process down. That's my 2 cents.
